Cut - Uncut

(ISO 80, f/3.3, Shutter Speed 1/160 sec)

Place : Rani Ji Ki Baoli at Boondi (Rajasthan)

I have written in detail about this place in one of my earlier post "The Queen's Step Well". I took the pic in way that it should only show the half part of the symmetrical arch. To shoot it in half or not, hence the title : Cut-Uncut :)

Post Processing : Black and White mode, Increased Saturation and contrast.

ya deepak i went to munnar but was not able to go during october , missed the blooming of flower. Your photograph has a wonderfully sharp texture which generally gets lost in monochrome

Remember, I said you can do certain stuff that I can't dream of doing? This is what I was talking about!

Dude, stick to architecture. You really have a gift there.

This picture has a very 'haunted' quality to it. It's as if the entire thing would come alive any second! :)

If you insist...the title is very technical...for once could not dissect into your psyche by reading it. Out of curosity...had it been some metophoric phrase...what would you choose...

Uncut?
Unfinished?

Or maybe...The Half Truth?
It could be...One side of coin...
The silent Guardian....

god I can think of so many...tell me your thoughts

i like the "the silent guardian" others dont go....but u cant always chose the metaphoric titles.....sometimes just plain simple words :)

but aap short run losses dekh rahe ho. initial costs to uthani hi padti hain.

long run mein recover hone ki viability dekho.
and for that purpose, the pictures are good enough to attract people into buying. :D
